What is Body Literacy?

You will be excited to find out that this is one of the most empowering skills you can gain if you want to be in tune with your body and reproductive health.

LITERACY : ‘the ability to gain understanding by ‘reading’.

‘Body Literacy’ refers to the ability to gain understanding about your reproductive health by “reading’ the signals your body is sending every minute of every day.

By tuning in to the simple signs your body displays, you can gain a new perspective of your reproductive processes and elevate the quality of your reproductive health decisions.

“The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.”
– B.B. King

Our no-cost classes help you become familiar with the four phases of your monthly cycle, how you can track them, and how that helps you navigate your reproductive health.

Cycle Awareness 1: The Starting Point – Learning to Read Your Body’s Monthly Cycle

Learn about the four phases of a healthy menstrual cycle as well as the four hormones active in each phase. Discover their effects plus explore methods of tracking your cycle to detect each phase.

Cycle Awareness 2: Understanding the Ins and Outs of Your ‘Fertility Window’

We are all aware of the ‘Red Flow’ each month which indicates the completion of a cycle, but how many of us are familiar with the ‘White Flow’.  This session presents more body signals for you to ‘read’ in order to understand, track and manage your ‘Fertility Window’.

This class builds on the materials presented in Cycle Awareness 1 and introduces options for natural fertility management.
